gothnick and I went to see Nerina Pallot at The Boarderline. She was amazing. We saw her a few weeks ago supporting Suzanne Vega when she played an acoustic set with just a guitar or piano. Well worth a listen if you're into female singer / songwriter types. I predict she'll be big. Supporting were The Storys, a bunch of likely lads from Wales playing alt / country. They were actually quite good. Nice voices, played their instruments well, melodies.... proper - not like that rubbish you get nowadays :0))
All in all a lovely night out.
